Poste et missions:
A junior lawyer with a first significant experience in relevant fields, preferably as an in-house counsel or in a law firm. Your excellent knowledge of contract law or government grants is underpinned by strong communication skills and the ability to influence and work collaboratively at all levels and functions in an organization.
1.Eligibility Criteria:
Master Degree in Law (general or juriste d’entreprise).
Good understanding of contract law and civil code
Understanding basics of intellectual property law and contracting.
Basic Understanding of the EU Horizon 2020 grant types
Good written and oral language skills (fluent in English).
Microsoft Office and Powerpoint technical skills ability in using Word, Excel, and prepare presentations in PowerPoint, able to work with tracked changes and versions control in word documents.
2.Previous professional experience:
Previous significant experience as trainee or actual employee/collaborator in a private company’s legal department or in law firm supporting corporate clients.
Experience in basic Contract Drafting.
Ability to independently create legal clauses and letters (English).
Ability to communicate effectively (English).
3.Having knowledge of the healthcare or grants sector is a plus.
4.Other language skills other than English is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your legal career within a fast-paced, challenging and exciting business.
You will support primarily the Janssen R&D organization with assisting the Global Government Grant Office in applying for certain types of government funding, and supporting the execution of contracts and grant agreements for government funded projects in an international context, with a focus on EU Horizon 2020. In relation to your support to the Global Government Grant Office (G3O) you will be working on:
Providing legal analysis of prospected grant applications.
Help in reviewing grant terms and conditions.
Establishing and implementing education and training processes related to H2020 grants.
When needed, execution and filing of these agreements.
Advising on interpretation of existing (grant) agreements.
Interacting with other J&J attorneys in Europe supporting procurement colleagues in their functional domain(s) when they negotiate procurement subcontracts.
Providing support on procurement related contract matters for the G3O.
Duties may evolve depending on the needs of the Johnson & Johnson Law Department and the Janssen Global Government Grant Office.
