Jaguar Land Rover has an opportunity for an experienced  Diesel Defeat Device Compliance Engineer position responsible for the compilation and management of BES / AES and AECD document packs which will be submitted to type approval authorities throughout the world to document Diesel emissions control strategies. Working very closely with the Subject Matter Experts and the Certification department, the Defeat Device Compliance Engineer will be responsible for the compiling and maintaining the documentation. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering all required supporting testing activities and ensuring that the work is complete to support key certification timings. In addition, you'll be accountable for Diesel compliance planning activities and communication with the Certification team, driving for delivery of defeat device document package and supporting discussions with the Certification team and authorities on the suitability of the documentation package.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As a successful Diesel Defeat Device Compliance Engineer, you'll have experience of diesel passenger car or medium duty combustion calibration delivery from development through to production, along with detailed knowledge of Diesel combustion calibration, control and systems/hardware. You'll combine excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience of stakeholder management and will also have strong working knowledge of whole-vehicle and powertrain systems integration.
