Position Description:

Being part of the Madrid WM Operations team, the successful candidate will provide support to the Private bank business in Madrid, working in conjunction with our Front Office teams like, Portfolio Managers, Bankers, Investors and Client Service Specialist as well as with our internal partners including other abroad operations teams and technology. Their will also be interaction with third party entities and Official Authorities like CIS custodians and Administrators, CNMV, Bank of Spain and Spanish tax Authorities.

Our team provides support to different areas, and the candidate will, among others, perform the following tasks:

J.P.Morgan Gestión SGIIC SA - Management of Spanish Investment Collective Schemes.
· 
·  Daily reconciliation of managed CIS NAV (Cash and Portfolio)
·  Trade processing, control and monitoring.
·  Payment orders
·  Balance Sheet control, accruals
·  CIS shareholders controls and monitoring.
·  Daily relationship with outsources teams and Spanish Custodians.
·  Regulatory and Tax control and reporting (EMIR, AIFMD…)

 

·  JPMIB Sucursal en España -Distribution of International Mutual funds
·  Trade processing, monitoring reconciliation and booking
·  Distributed Mutual Funds controls
·  Static Data maintenance
·  Tax  and regulatory reporting
·  Nostro reconciliation

This position is a unique opportunity to gain an in depth knowledge of all operational, tax and regulatory aspects behind a Management Company and a MF distributor.

 
Requirements:
Essential skills/experience
·  Strong organizational, prioritization and coordination skills.
·  Effective communication, judgement and problem-solving.
·  Ability to take initiatives multi-task and work well under pressure.
·  Good knowledge of Excel.
·  Business degree education or equivalent financial qualifications.
·  3-5 years previous experience in a similar role within the Financial services and/or Banking industry. Preferably in an Operations department of a Management Company.
·  Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English
