Description of the Position with Key Objectives:
 
·  Custody & Fund Services Middle Office in Frankfurt is the predominant group for managing the operational aspects of a client relationship i.e. monitoring stock & cash settlement and responding to client and internal queries regarding such operational matters.
·  Acting as an internal / external point of contact, the Client Service Analyst is responsible for all aspects of the operational service delivery in day-to-day business and for supporting clients, KVGs and Asset Managers in Germany, Austria & Switzerland with their inquiries in those areas. The Client Service Analyst co-ordinates research and resolution of custody, settlement, cash and security related issues and queries.
·  While most contact is by telephone or e-mail, the Client Service Analyst will also make in-person calls/contacts, either independently or with product representatives and/or members of the local/global Client Services and Markets teams, to develop and maintain client relationships, loyalty and satisfaction.
·  The Client Service Analyst continuously strives to address customer issues and questions promptly, accurately, and courteously; and deals with internal referrals in a efficient and effective manner.
·  Further goal will be to strengthen client satisfaction in partnership with our local/global Client Services & Markets teams, functional operations partners around the globe as well as supporting group and LOB management to meet our growth agenda for the location, while striving to increase efficiencies also through an ongoing transformation agenda.
·  The Client Service Analyst will be able to perform in-depth task and process analysis and introduce solution to reduce risk and enhance efficiencies.
Core competencies & role requirements :
·  Excellent understanding of all components of the Custody business
·  Good understanding of Regulatory and Statutory Reporting requirements
·  Good understanding of the underlying asset classes which are standard in the market
·  Excellent client service experience, confident, focused on client satisfaction
·  Effective communicator written and verbal, both in German and English
·  Keep up-to-date with the firm’s policies and standards
·  Pro-actively seek training opportunities within and beyond their field of expertise
·  Adhere to procedures, guidelines, policies and particularly to ensure segregation of duties.
 
Experience, skills and other requirements:
·  Academic degree in business administration or Finance, will be positively considered
·  Ability to deliver high quality results within agreed timescales and under pressure
·  Ideally track record of managing projects and improving processes
·  Ability to identify and manage complex issues on own initiative
·  Experience of working within a team that collaborates across multiple locations
·  Strong interpersonal and team working skills
·  Practical experience within a Depotbank or similar business
·  Flexibility and adaptability to the changing requirements of the business
·  Fluent spoken and written German and English.
·  Very good verbal and written communication skills
·  Team player and team leadership skills
·  Broad-based IT skills and application experience
·  Very good knowledge of markets and securities in general
