Job Description

Assist with qualitative user research for website and software products. This intern will help with ongoing customer insights projects, including usability testing, behavioral analysis,documenting findings and recommendations into reports and assisting in delivering reports to stakeholder groups. This is an ideal summer position for a student who is interested in research and observational studies.

You will assist in projects that require observing, analyzing, and documenting human behavior and providing recommendations for software/website design changes.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavior skills:

·  Strong analytical skills.
·  Great writing and verbal communications.
·  Analytical mindset, comfortable with public speaking.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be pursuing a bachelor degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in human factors engineering, anthropology, psychology or social science/sociology major.

Applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.

Minimum of 3 months experience with:

·  Microsoft Office products: Excel, power point
·  Social Media, web usage
·  Conducting and documenting research projects such as secret shopper, behavioral studies, psychology studies with human participants.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience with usability studies or other observation-based research.
