The Systems Engineer will be a member of the DEG Product Architecture Intercepts PAI team.PAI is responsible for working complex technical architectural/ engineering issues across groups through launch/mass production and cluster enabling.The candidate will work with partner groups to refine the platform targets into realizable specs, drive key initiatives and work across disciplines Silicon, Platform HW, FW and SW and influence future technologies.The candidate will need to work on expert technical analysis, implementation of complex platform features as he/she works with Architects and Engineers across organizations.Candidate will spend considerable time in evaluating the feature matureness and driving proof of concepts to increase the maturity when needed.Success is measured by minimal surprises and a predictable execution towards Launch.When needed the candidate will help our customer facing teams with technical leadership to resolve launch gating customer issues.

Qualifications

BTech / MTech in Electrical/Electronic or Computer engineeringGood understanding of System Architecture - HW-FW-SW as a whole.Good skills in Platform Debug, Stability, and Validation methodologies. Good working knowledge of Intel CPU/SoC and platform components, power delivery and prior focus on Memory architecture and technologies is greatly desiredUnderstanding of OS fundamentals, system level debug, exposure to hardware, System on Chip, firmware and Device Driver is neededGood time management abilities and flexibility on multiple task assignmentsStrong written and verbal skills is required
