Job Description This position is responsible for test automation and implementation as part of the iCDG Q&R team. The primary responsibility will be the effective assurance of product quality and reliability through the design and development of software tests and the accompanying frameworks for new wireless devices.Key Responsibilities: -Assist in the planning, design, and verification of use cases/ features.-Write automated tests both black box and white box.-Code complete test automation solutions for all tests-Actively contribute to code reviews-Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action. -Validate that requirements and fixes meet acceptance criteria, verify defects and ensure appropriate automation is in place.-Promptly identifying and escalating defects working with cross site and cross functional product teams to isolate problems and tracking the issues to complete resolution.-Perform exploratory testing of new features and product changes with QRE's.-Work with Development and QA to understand test coverage and develop new automated tests as a result.-Participate in field failure analysis through development of appropriate tests to help duplicate and validate customer issues.-Identify areas for improvement and assist in refining standards and procedures.-Support lab infrastructure software development.-Be a strong advocate for quality on the team.
