This position is for an industrial engineering role based at the Kiryat Gat Site, a part of the Central Layout Team in the TMG Strategic Planning Organization.

The primary role involves developing factory layouts from conceptual stage through final tool installation on the Kiryat Gat site.

And also:

Industrial Engineers plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts, determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.Develop metrics to measure equipment and factory capacity and output, and to identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks.May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may plan and schedule training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Desired profile

Qualifications

The position requires an Engineering degree or equivalent with experience in facility planning principles.

Strong skills desired in the following:

-2-3 years of experience in various industrial engineering arena LO Development, Information systems, Biz process development/PMO or other

-High standard of quality and attention to detail.

-Strong organizational, prioritization, planning and time management skills.

-Managing priorities in a matrix environment.

-Problem solving.

-Knowledge of manufacturing operations production and/or manufacturing processes, facilities and a solid understanding of the factory layout/ capacity/capital systems are desirable

-Ability to effectively communicate ideas using written and verbal means at all levels of management and across diverse functional teams manufacturing, finance, construction, install while being able to apply active listening skills to deliver consistent results.

-Ability to summarize significant information to concise executive summaries and recommendations presentation skills.

-Strong project management and negotiation skills in order to negotiate key deliverables or support between multiple organizations.

-Constructive confrontational skills and a willingness to challenge others constructively.

-Ability to work in an ever changing environment and performing within a team/culture which includes:

excellent tolerance of ambiguity, setting expectations, driving accountability, possesses excellent teamwork, demonstrated leadership and team oriented.
