Job Description
The candidate will be part of graphics front end RTL design team under Visual and Parallel Computing Group VPG responsible for delivery of Graphics cores for Intel's CPUs / SOCs for notebook and tablet platforms. In this position, the candidate will work on front-end RTL design and validation activities related to 3D and / or media features like Microsoft* DirectX, OCL, OGL, GPGPU, Image Enhancement etc for Intel's next generation graphics cores. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: development of micro-architecture, RTL coding and validation of 3d / media units development of testplans, test writing and execution work with structural design teams to ensure timing closure for the owned units work with validation and integration teams for debugs / fixes pre and post Silicon

Qualifications

Strong logic design skills and experience in System Verilog / Verilog / VHDL* Strong analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills Good understanding of ASIC design flow, validation concepts like ATG, test plan writing, functional coverage etc Exposure to graphics and / or media architecture in previous employment would be an added advantage Basic programming in C* and/or C++* or Perl* or TCL* Coursework in relevant areas of programming, computer graphics, digital design and computer architecture are desirable
