Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a software technical nature. Experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

The job is to identify and drive performance improvement opportunities from collecting data by testing complex software in systems software, software development tools, and applications, both local and in the cloud.May work directly with companies developing and optimizing databases, middleware, Java applications, operating systems, and other software technologies. Usually working on an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/researchand/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

·  Candidate must be pursuing a Master's or PHD Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field
·  Six months experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
·  C, C++, Python/ Java Programming
·  Statistics
·  Computer Architecture

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Compiler Technology
·  Performance of Distributed Systems, Private, Public, or Hybrid Cloud.
