You will be part of Intel Architecture Cores Group IACG group, In the Big Core IP development team driving Intel's latest CPU's in the World's leading process technologies. Develops pre-Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements. Creates test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests. Analyzes and uses results to modify testing

Qualifications

Candidate must possess a Masters Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with at least 4 or more years of experience in related field or a Bachelors Degree with at least 6 years of experience.We're looking for a highly motivated, Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer who is responsible to ensure: Architectural Development of Complex Pre-Silicon Verification environments for simulation Development of Verification Components and coverage plansRigorously executing Validation Plans to ensure Right First Time Success of our Products Work directly with hardware architects, logic designers to influence overall SoC and system design.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Processor verificationExperience with Specman Language is plus Experience with Formal verification techniques is a plus Strong background in scripting - PERL System hardware and software debug skills Understanding of software and/or hardware validation techniquesSolid understanding of system and processor architecture, and the interaction of computer hardware with software.Candidate should: Demonstrate excellent Self-motivation, communication, strong problem solving and teamwork skills Set aggressive goals and meet/beat the commitments Flexible enough to work in a dynamic environment and multitask seamlessly Display ability to work independently and in a team.
