Mission:

The Banking system Calypso is the fastest growing IT system in its kind and considered the standard for processing and calculating real-time Dealing-room trade and collateral transactions. Mission: combine your engineering skills and knowledge of the system’s capabilities to take end-to-end IT ownership and responsibility: full DTAP. 

Your day-to-day:

•Take responsibility of the end-to-end delivering growing and stable real-time financial transaction services
•Work on strategic projects and Analyze and Develop (complex) new functionality and coordinate with upstream/downstream IT teams
•CD: Implement the right tools and frameworks to automate everything: integration, deployment, functional and performance testing
•With 5 global scrum teams you support a global user base (Singapore, Europe, New York) 
•Search for opportunities, interact with demanding stakeholders in ING, develop yourself professionally 

What you bring to the team:

•Education Bachelor and/or Master level, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related.
•Hands-on knowledge of SQL/Oracle, Linux, scripting and object oriented programming (Java)
•Interest in experimenting with new technologies and tools: NoSQL, Predictive Analytics
•An excellent spoken and written command of English

Nice to have:

•Banking/Financial Markets products/processes knowledge 
•Experience with capacity and performance management
•Continuous Delivery tools such as: GIT, Jenkins, Nolio, Fortify, Concordion, Nagios, Evolven
