Position: Assistant Relationship Manager
Reporting to: Head of Corporate Clients, Korea
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview
Assistant Relationship Manager(“ARM”) is responsible for assisting PAM and country head of Corporate Clients for business development and client coverage to drive business development initiatives and eventually maximize revenue from Global and Corporate Clients in Korea.
Responsibilities
As anARM, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:
· Assist in maintaining core relationship through developing rapport withworking level staffs of clientsandobtain more understanding & insight of clients’ needsto maximize cross- selling opportunitiesfor Korean corporates;.
· Search the information about the Global/Corporate Clients onregularbasis to ensure timely dissemination to relevant ING team members and prompt response to client’s requests;
· Market research to help identifying emerging trends & transactionto capturepotential business opportunities;
· Support the transaction process, efficiently coordinating with relevant counterparts – local account managers/industry/product team to optimize clients services;
· Prepare the relevant client documentation andenhance marketing materials, providing value added inputs;
· Administrative works for client coverage.
Person Specifications
To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:
- Ideally MBA or BA in finance or business administration;
- Strong ability to manage client relationship with more than 2 years working experience asrelationship manger or product banker in an international financial institution;
- Good knowledge on Banking Products;
- High level of sense to see the market and industry trends;
- Proactive to assignment and flexible in work schedule;
- High level of self-motivation and result-oriented approach;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in working with/for internal/external clients;
- Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written; and
- Display an eagerness to learn and strive for excellence.
