Job description

R e s p o n s i b i l i t i e s

·  Dispatch freight correctly from the Distribution Hub. Monitor cargo clearance for correct arrival time and location

·  Follow up with agents to make sure the freight arrived safely and on time

·  Maintain a good flow of communication with all the Distribution Hub team and all other related personnel

·  Work with the Corporate Transportation Department to reduce costs and improve service

·  Ensure maximum transportation volume in the most profitable way possible

Export

·  Prepare the necessary documentation for transport to national and international destinations (billing)

·  Send documentation to agents (air, road) for billing

·  Pre-alert for destination agents. Submission of necessary files and documents for import in each destination country

·  Monitor restrictions and prohibitions for export to each country

·  Manage invoices, update the system with road, air freight and customs administration

·  Contact with Distribution Hub Operations Department to solve incidents

Transport

·  Forecast of volumes of goods from data provided by Commercial Department

·  Planning, management and monitoring of road and air transportation

·  Contact with freight forwarders for operational requests

·  Contact with Distribution Hub Operations Department to solve incidents

·  Monitor freight transport until arrival at the destination

·  Control of transport costs

·  Resolution and monitoring of incidents of shipments in transit

E d u c a t i o n

Bachelor degree/HBO in related fields or engineering will be preferable

Preferably with Logistics/warehouse knowledge

E x p e r i e n c e

Min 2 years of experience in Import, Export, Transport or Customs roles

K n o w l e d g e _ L a n g u a g e s

Dutch and English at a professional level

Knowledge of Spanish is valued
