ABOUT THE JOB
The purpose of the job is to develop IKEA Transport in accordance with the IKEA vision, IKEA business idea and the IKEA Human Resources Idea to secure short-, medium- and long-term growth, and the overall profitability of the IKEA business.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
·  • Book, reschedule, monitor & cancel shipments.
• Update extra costs in shipments.
• Select optimal transport solutions.
• Work in close cooperation with others in the Supply Chain (carriers/BD's etc.) to solve operational issues & optimize the transport booking process.
• Ensure shipments are in accordance with IKEA's routines & working methods.
• Optimize transport booking process & monitor the use of existing transport solutions.
• Correct wrong data updates in CNS.
• Ensure base data is complete and events & reason codes are updated.
• Investigate claims with regard to extra costs & resolve claim issues.
YOUR PROFILE
·  Knowledge of the operational and delivery processes (sender, carrier, receiver) in the transport industry.
·  Preferred education or valid experience in transport/logistics or related area.
·  Computer literacy from a user perspective.
·  Fluent in English and local language.
·  Able to see IKEA as a whole and keep the focus on the IKEA customer.
·  Ability to find new solutions and to optimize the existing ones. Location: Service Office 2, Shanghai, China
