IKEA Jinan Store is the No.24 in China.Jinan is the capital of Shandong province in Eastern China. The area of present-day Jinan has played an important role in the history of the region from the earliest beginnings of civilization and has evolved into a major national administrative, economic, and transportation hub. The city has held sub-provincial administrative status since 1994. Jinan is often referred to as the "Spring City" for its well-known 72 artesian springs inside urban area.

ABOUT THE JOB To maximise sales in my area of responsibility using knowledge of my range, local market and my customers, as well as the IKEA tools and the experience and expertise of my colleagues. I support the efficient work of the IKEA mechanical sales system to ensure the continued success of the IKEA Concept.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:
Customers

·  My priority is to ensure that my area of responsibility is clean, tidy, priced and fully stocked, and that the merchandising basics are in place at all times.
·  I am passionate about my products and actively learn about their features and benefits, and I want to share this knowledge with my customers and colleagues.
·  I work with my manager to improve range presentation by ensuring it appeals to our local customers and encourages them to buy more.
·  I am always aware of customers in my department and I prioritize offering them help even when I am engaged in other tasks.
·  I actively approach customers when I recognize the mechanical sales system is not meeting their needs. I then advise them on the best solutions in order to sell more.
·  I encourage my customers to give me feedback and offer solutions to frequently asked questions. This helps to make a better future shopping experience for everyone.
·  I have deep knowledge of customer life at home and their home furnishing needs
·  I know about all the services offered in my store and use the knowledge to help customers make informed choices which results in a better shopping experience for them.
·  I have confidence and want to listen to complaints from my customers, I then use my knowledge of both the product and how the IKEA organization works, to offer informed solutions that ensure customers leave the store with a positive impression.
·  I know my department working routines and follow them. I work proactively to maintain the safety and security of my areas for customers and colleagues, and I am conscious of safety at all times in our store.
·  I support and drive easy buying initiatives through customer feedback
·  I have knowledge of installation and kitchen planning service, customer shopping behaviour of buying within my local area.
·  I follow up with customer from home to home kitchen shopping experience, analysis and feedback to the store commercial team for further actions.
Commercial
My overall objective is to maximize sales whilst maintaining profitability. I do this by:

·  Knowing my top selling products, 3 Aces and 1 King, ensuring they are available and clearly communicated and displayed at all times. I promote alternative products when they are unavailable.
·  Keeping myself aware of my area's stock situation and status of supply.
·  Maintaining my area of responsibility throughout the day and preparing it in readiness for replenishment for the next day's business.
·  Knowing and working actively with range changes (e.g. NEWS and outgoing products) and commercial activities, and minimizing price reductions.
·  Understanding the importance of accurate stock holding and how my actions impact on this.
·  Taking active interest in my local competition, which helps me promote my products in ways that best show our competitive advantage to my customers.
·  Completing “customer flows” to better understand my customers' shopping behaviour and using this information to initiate ideas for improvements.
·  Contributing to the department's commercial action plan, by taking ownership for my part in its delivery.
·  Deeply analysing our product's selling point, customer buying behaviour to secure a good service attitude, I have strong selling skills to meet or exceed our customers' expectations and our business goals.
·  I request support from my colleagues, other functions and my manager so that I can deliver better business results. I also share my knowledge to my colleagues to help improve selling competence together.
·  I achieve my goals through continuous evaluation and follow up.
·  I understand the department and store priorities, both current and future, as this helps me anticipate what will be expected of me.
·  Actively look for improved ways of working in a simple, lean and cost-effective way and discuss my ideas with my manager and my colleagues.
·  I aware the competitors kitchen offer by visit them minimum every 2ndmonth, I will also share this information to the sales leader and within my team to secure we have the best kitchen service offer within my local market.
·  I am the expert of kitchen planning & installation in my department, even the customers' kitchen build in different shapes.
·  I share the kitchen after sales data with CR & ICCC every month in order to secure a better services to all kitchen customers'
·  Together with my shopkeeper to set up kitchens conversion rate goal & follow up
People

·  I am always available to help and support colleagues in my own department and in other areas of the store when needed.
·  I work with other functions to improve the shopping experience for our customers.
·  I pass on my knowledge to colleagues and encourage them to do the same.
·  I keep my colleagues informed so that they can perform their roles effectively.
·  I am responsible for my own development and look to my manager to support me in improving my competence.
·  I am responsible to train any co-worker either in store or national who may involve kitchen planning & installation
·  I support CR, ESP department to improve the kitchen buying process in the store
Financial

·  I know our department action plan and support the goals and targets given to me by my manager to ensure the action plan is delivered.
·  I know our daily and weekly sales targets and this drives me to sell more.
·  I understand the impact of my actions on the financial results of my area and know which results I have influence over.
·  I look for more effective ways of working to reduce costs.
YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

·  Confident to approach and talk to people

·  Minimum 2 years selling experience
