ABOUT THE JOB
Implement and improve safety & security management system in DC Pune by following IKEAGroupRiskManual & local relevant legislations andinsurance partner’s requirements. To better protect IKEA property and maintain a safe and secure environment for all co-workers and visitors

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  Ensure compliance with IKEA Risk Management standards and all local safety & security laws / regulations on a consistent basis via a regular series of audits, follow-up, education, training and reports
·  Lead the internal and external safety & security team to implement DC Pune safety & security routines, and to better support DC Pune operation business
·  Initiate and monitor internal & external incidents/accidents and provide rapid response, investigation and reporting of all emergencies
·  Lead the teamto coordinate all fire safety equipment and activities, organize fire drills as required
·  Work with other functions to implementloss prevention routines
·  Review Safety & Security budget and manage the security service contract annually
·  Develop internal Safety and Security co-workers
·  Develop, conduct and coordinate training of associates in the area ofsafety & security and occupational health.
·  Evaluate, implementand maintainPPE(PersonalProtectiveEquipment) in place.
·  Develop, plan and monitor all internal and external Fire and Security related systems
·  Implement and coordinatetheSafety & Health& IWAYCommittee
·  Coordinate insurance programs and handle claims
·  Work closely with outside agencies (police, fire departments, fraud agencies, insurance companies, attorneys) as required
·  Coordinate necessarysafetyreports, permits, communications andsafetyself-assessmentsetc.
·  Implement other tasks assigned fromFacility manager YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  Bachelor degree in “industrial automation”, “electric automation” or “mechanical & electrical integration” is a plus (Purpose: will have a multi-competence with Maintenance Function in further)
·  3-5 years Safety/ Security managementexperience
·  First Aid and Disaster response skills
·  Fire system, security monitoring and alarm equipment experience
·  Apprehension, interview and interrogation capabilities
·  Possess understanding of local laws, fire codes, etc. GROWING TOGETHER
