About you
We believe that you are a person with lots of energy, drive and dynamics, you have enthusiasm for business and people and an entrepreneurship thinking. You want to drive the business further and have an end to end ownership for the purchasing part. We want you to feel passion for the seafood, specifically the salmon market as well as the reality of production. We expect you to have deep knowledge of the processes within the purchasing area of the Food business in terms of supplier and market capabilities.

IKEA Food develops and provides the food sold and served in all IKEA Restaurants, Bistro´s, Swedish Food Markets and the IKEA co-worker restaurants. IKEA Food has 389 restaurants in 49 markets and every year 650 million guests are enjoying the IKEA Food.

About the assignment
In your role you will be responsible and take lead in creating and managing the business agenda from a purchasing perspective. We believe that you will build a professional and long term relationship w ith suppliers by challenging and negotiate through the IKEA way of doing business. You will have an overall responsible for supplier performance and within that develop and implement action plans together with suppliers.

You will partner with suppliers and continuously increase the competitiveness and on an everyday base work to optimise costs of IKEA Food products. You will also professionally challenge suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of supplier performance to support the growth of IKEA Food. You will secure compliance in IKEA way of working (IWAY) and food safety standards.
