3 months Sales Associate (Part-Time)

ABOUT THE JOB
Reporting to the Shopkeeper of Home Decoration, the Sales Associate provides excellent sales service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and ensures the IKEA basic merchandising standards are in place to give customers a positive shopping experience.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
·  You will work with the team to assist in the set up and tear down of the Christmas trim shop to prepare for the upcoming Christmas season
·  You will actively promote the sale items at Christmas trim sales and home decoration
·  You will ensure the area are clean, tidy, items are on displayed, priced and fully stocked to provide an easy shopping experience for the customers
·  You ensure high level of customers' satisfaction by assessing customers' needs and provide information and assistance when required
·  You continuously keep yourself updated on the home furnishing products and in-store services and promotions to help customers make informed choices YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
·  You are customer-serviced focused with a passion in retail home furnishing business
·  You are a problem solver, self-motivated and a strong team player
·  You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with basic knowledge of PC
·  You are physically fit to handle physical work and pro-longed hours of standing
·  You are able to commit to working on AM & PM shift work, weekends and public holidays during Xmas and New Year This will be a 30 hours contract per week as follow:
Beginning Nov - End Jan (3 Part Timers required)
