Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside is looking for a dynamic and passionate Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team!

Our newly refurbished bar and restaurant offers menus that reflect a “paddock to plate” and “vineyard to glass” food and wine ethos and a love of great Queensland produce.  

Your day to day

Holiday Inn Cairns Harbourside are seeking an energetic Supervisor who is passionate about all things Food and Beverage!  As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will:

·  Oversee the smooth delivery of breakfast and dinner service, bar, room service and conference & events. 
·  Respond to any guest needs and resolve any issues independently and confidently as well as supporting your team through the decision making process.
·  Lead, motivate and coach a talented team of attendants whilst leveraging on individual strengths to deliver strong results for the F&B function. 
·  Work closely with other internal departments such as Kitchen and Conference & Events to ensure the Hotel performs at its best.

No two days are the same in this role where creating long lasting memories for our guests is our goal.  

What we need from you

· 
Previous Food and Beverage Supervisory experience and looking to further your career with a focus on leadership and the Hotel industry.   

· 
Natural leader who knows how to step up and guide the team through the demands of a busy restaurant service.

· 
Approachable and collaborative leadership style will motivate and engage those around you whilst utilising your analytical problem solving abilities to solve dynamic issues.

· 
Focus on quality and attention to detail will ensure that guests are exceptionally satisfied and lasting memories created.

· 
You will have the flexibility to work various shifts on a 7 day roster and meet the legal requirements to work full time in Australia.
