Your day to day

Wellington is a city famous for its thriving coffee culture and we are looking for a superstar Barista to join our Front of House team!

We are looking for a Barista who is great behind the coffee machine, charming to the hotels' guests and not afraid to help their colleagues in other areas of the role, too.

Using your experience matched with your charming nature, you will create memorable moments by creating a range of tea and coffees and serving light meals during the day.

What we need from you

·  Experience, or educational equivalent, in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
·  Experience creating a range of great tasting coffees.
·  Ability to create consistent coffee art (desirable, not essential)
·  Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
·  A positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
·  Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal
·  Flexible – evening, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
·  Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments (preferred)
·  Problem-solving abilities.
·  Hotel, Tourism and Hospitality experience (preferred)
·  Be physically fit & able to stand on your feet for long period of time.
