Job description

IBM is seeking a champion of user-centric thinking to help shape marketing through A/B testing and personalization.

IBM marketers produce thousands of campaigns and digital experiences every year. Have you ever wondered how we decide the ways in which those experiences should evolve? We observe user behavior and use analytics to inform audience-first experiences, through the use of A/B tests and personalization (aka experiments) continually running on our webpages every day.

You'll work with teams across IBM marketing to understand and enable their experimentation needs. As a part of the Experimentation Team, you'll receive context on your users' needs (both internally: the marketers – and externally: our web visitors) and drive follow up conversations to help you and your peers decide how to best serve those needs.

Location: New York, NY

Re s ponsibilities

·  Understand how marketing teams work to conduct reviews of competitive and best of breed websites, as well as current pain points of our sites (using diagnostic tools like heat maps) to identify new opportunities for testing.

·  Enable marketing teams to adopt experimentation regardless of their level of experience.

·  Interpret data, identify key findings, and make recommendations based on testing results.

·  Perform end-to-end analyses of web pages in context of content, media planning, and audience.

·  Act as subject matter expert for digital and marketing analytics capabilities, of which testing and personalization is one of them.
