Job description
Staff Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, Littleton, MA: Develop automated cloud update and deployment solution. Develop and test elastic scaling and high availability capability. Develop, maintain, and support product functionality. Build automated unit and functional test suites for product. Develop, improve, and support product life cycle delivery pipeline. Diagnose and fix reported product problems. Design and develop microservices to plan analytics product multi-tenant configurations. Improve cloud deployment and orchestration infrastructure to plan analytics services docker containers. Utilize automation, big data analytics, continuous delivery and integration, cloud-based orchestration, Agile development, programming languages, operating systems, and advanced software development tools. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing automation, big data analytics, continuous delivery and integration, cloud-based orchestration, Agile development, programming languages, operating systems, and advanced software development tools.
