Job description
The Weather Company, an IBM Business is hiring a Software Engineering Intern for our Andover, MA location. In this role you will work with our B2B software engineering teams to develop tools to gain insights into our aviation and energy products. You'll have the opportunity to understand the development process, become familiar with the CI/CD infrastructure and learn about the quality assurance process of delivering and supporting enterprise software. Strong analytical, programming skills, and communication skills are required. The idea candidates will have a passion for learning new technologies and creating tools that add value to solve business needs.
Main responsibilities include:
· Understanding requirements for new test tools or development tools the teams requires.
· Using scripting or programming languages to develop tools with team members.
· Assisting with development or QA tasks in agile sprints.
· Work closely with development teams to resolve product issues.
· Understand our aviation and weather applications depending on which product team you work on.
