Within our Security Software lab in Delft, the Netherlands, we currently have one vacancy for an experienced C/C++ developer.

Our development environment:
As a software developer, you will be part of our local development team in Delft and the focal point for building and testing our Identity Adapters for z/OS that connect the IBM Z to our IBM Security Identity Governance and Intelligence (IGI ) and IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) software running on either Unix, Linux or Windows.
In general we develop our product based on given specifications and in some cases, specific client requirements.

As a software developer you will be writing adapter code, build and execute functionality tests and also perform code inspections.
We are also developing one of our applications with Visual Basic.NET on Windows and the candidate can expand to testing and developing code in this area as well.
Our environment is rather complex and therefore the position requires several years of development experience.

Within our Delft Security Software Lab the majority of the developers design and build our zSecure security software product for IBM Z
Our adapter software will therefore exploit z/OS and z/VM operating system features and is interwoven with multiple z/OS security software products as for example RACF.
It also supports multiple subsystems like CICS, IMS and Db2 for z/OS and sends data to external products like QRadar and ArcSight.

As software developer you:
are the primary contact for the product specific related questions, issues and release planning
work together with the product owner to define and track release content based on new customers' requests, existing defect tickets and help building new products or opportunities
participate in and/or organize web sessions for customers and co-worker to resolve problems or demonstrate new functionality
be the primary L3 contact for L2 support team and co-workers that participate in Proof of Concepts
work with the team to ensure the correct documents are available to the end-users of the product
are involved in testing some other developer's code, like functional verification testing or regression testing for a new release.

As both our software and the IBM Z are considered to be highly complex, the will to succeed, a strong personal drive and the ability to think on an above average analytical level are considered very important personal qualities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Is a self-motivated individual, with a minimum of 4 years' experience as a software developer on either an IBM Z or Unix/Linux platform.
·  Must be willing to gain knowledge of the z Platform and relevant subsystems from a security point of view.
·  Has at least 4 years of programming experience in C/C++
·  Has experience with OpenSSL.
·  Is working with ambiguity in a matrix oriented, fast paced, environment.
·  English (spoken/written): Fluent.
