Job description
Software Developer, IBM Corporation, Hartland, WI: Develop and execute software test plans. Maintain and execute verification procedures for Watson Health software applications. Conduct testing activities throughout software development life cycle. Ensure software functions run according to functional and user requirements and software design specifications. Assist in testing of systems, modules, and prototypes. Perform installations, configurations, and executions of verification procedures. Conduct ongoing regression and integration testing. Design automation framework. Automate functional and regression test cases. Explore new methods for software verification and validation. Work with development and technical teams to efficiently troubleshoot problems. Identify and communicate possible improvements in work process. Report all defects in defect tracking tool. Utilize Agile methodology, Black Box, web service integration testing, regression testing, test management tools, and Oracle Database validation. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Test Lead, Analyst, or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Agile methodology, Black Box, web service integration testing, regression testing, test management tools, and Oracle Database validation. Full time.
