Saving analyst

Job description

Responsible for supporting sourcing events, providing analytical and reporting support in areas such as savings reporting, spend analysis, and market research. This role can also be specialized by discipline (e.g. savings where an analyst focuses on savings approval and reporting)

Responsibilities:
·  Multi-category role supporting sourcing team with analytical tasks within the 7 step sourcing process and overall sourcing governance
·  Spend analysis
·  Market intelligence and benchmarks
·  Assist with analyzing existing contracts
·  Support Category Consultants and Category Managers with RFi/x preparation and execution
·  Provide supplier reporting of volumes (to realize savings)
·  Role can also provide pre-sales (due diligence support)
·  Manage savings process to enable timely approval
·  Savings reporting to fulfill both internal IBM and external client requirements
·  Maintenance of savings reporting tools (e.g., Savings Tracker)
