QRadar integrates previously disparate functions including log management, network behaviour analytics and security event management into a total security intelligence solution. QRadar provides users with crucial visibility into what is occurring with their networks, data centres, and applications to better protect IT assets and meet regulatory requirements.
Our IBM Security Lab in Belfast, is looking for a technically gifted, dedicated and enthusiastic software engineer to join our QRadar Level 3 Support Team. You will work as part of an agile team debugging customer issues and be able to produce workarounds and hot fixes for the issues as required. You will work very closely with the L2 Support team and the development team as we make every effort to give the best possible Customer Experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Diploma, BSc, MSc in Computer Science or related technical discipline
Commercial development experience in Java.
Experience with scripting languages (perl, python, bash)
Experience debugging Java applications
Experience with J2EE technologies.
Experience using relational databases e.g. Postgres
Experience with Unix based operating systems
Experience with Tomcat
Experience using Git.
High Level understanding of Docker
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English
