What is your job?

As a Virtualization Engineer, you will work as part of a team responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining VMware virtual infrastructure solutions which support IBM Security products.
This includes:
·  Day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting and patching of our VMware infrastructure
·  Deploy solutions that integrate networking, storage, and server components
·  Work in both traditional on-premise datacentres and cloud-based providers.
·  Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
·  Engage other business units to drive deployment and maintenance initiatives.
·  Collaborate with the VMware team to identify areas of need or improvement opportunities
·  Utilize Powershell scripting tools to streamline deployment and configuration

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
