Job description

This role is responsible for driving improvements in overall quality and client satisfaction by providing an end-to-end view of supply chain performance; may include interaction with external organizations such as development, service, sales, etc. Responsibilities include strategic preventive quality assurance for products and processes, as well as install and yield management support at a system and commodity level. A variety of quality-related activities are supported by this positionThe employee guides functional objectives or technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

This role is responsible of working with suppliers technically, supporting development during new products and engineering changes, manufacturing and development during early production builds, quality supplier management and support continuous internal or external production products. This position is involved in facets of Supply Chain, such as engineering changes, supplier quality assurance true IBM manufacturing and field performance, tooling changes and product delivery.
