Job description
System administrator for a worldwide organization that hosts over 6000 servers. There is a variety of OS (Windows, Domino, AIX, Linux), hardware (iSeries, pSeries, xSeries), and middleware (Rational, DB2, notes, WAS, WPS) components. Infrastructure Support Specialist: System Administrator. Work in a ticket based environment handling all aspects of hosting operations from resolving simple problems outlined clearly in tickets following defined processes to more complicated problem solving requiring a variety of technical skills. May also be involved in building servers to customer specifications and security audits. Weekend and after hours work may be required depending upon business priority. Must be able to flex work schedule as needed to work with other geographies to solve problem

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
· At least 1 year experience with system administration tasks
· Troubleshooting and problem investigation
· Basic knowledge of Linux environment
· Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL
· Can prove similar experience with at least 1 relevant project in the same position
· Good customer facing communication skills - verbal and written
· English Language: Advanced
