Digital Banking 4 Clients is a team within BNP Paribas' Change Management responsible for the oversight of the online banking platform for corporate entities, called CENTRIC.

The business intelligence department is looking for an enthusiastic data analyst to help build the data blending processes for DB4C's analyses within the existing Python/SQL infrastructure.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helping to Establish a working Business Intelligence Department

·
Collaborate with the DB4C team to best understand their operational and strategic needs in terms of data analyses

·
Identify business and operational opportunities to generate value for DB4C

·
Work closely with clients during application roll-out and all stages of the application life cycle

·
Assist the team at all stages of the developed solutions' life cycle

·
Contribute to disseminate a culture of data driven solutions within DB4C

·
Develop and share best practices with the other CIB data oriented teams

·
Build data models, i.e., collect, understand and transform data

·
Develop & deliver data-driven insight to our team

PROFILE

·
University Degree with a specialization in engineering, mathematics, statistics or data science

·
0-5 years of working experience

·
Fluent in English

·
Experience in working in complex multi-dimensional problems and in software development

·
Exposure to data & analytics product life-cycle and to data visualization tools and techniques

·
DBA skills (Transact-SQL)

·
Programming skills (Python)

·
Knowledge of ETL

·
Knowledge of Data Visualization

·
Ability to think abstractly and creatively

·
Synthesis skills: ability to explain the results of a model and the different elements impacting it

·
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·
Ability to work in a changing environment
