Job description

IBM Federal is seeking a talented, versatile full-stack JavaScript Developer with active TS/SCI and Full Scope Polygraph. As a JavaScript Developer on our team, you will be part of a small agile team building a set of important cloud services and related APIs, UIs and user capabilities for government customers. This team is fast-paced, collaborative, and cohesive, and depends on team members to communicate openly and to design solutions and deliver quality code on a regular, aggressive clip.

As a JavaScript Developer, you will be a hands-on and will design, develop, integrate, test, and deploy software using a combination of custom, open source, and off-the-shelf (GOTS/COTS) software packages and a variety of data types (structured, unstructured, non-text).

In addition, you will work as part of an Agile scrum team to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical tasks. They will enhance software functionality based on rapidly evolving mission needs and technology opportunities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  REQUIRED ON DAY 1: Active TS/SCI security clearance + Full Scope Polygraph
·  Demonstrated hands-on programming experience with one or more of the following: JavaScript (Node, React, Angular), API services, AWS
·  5+ years of experience building rich web applications, dashboards, and/or workflow systems
·  Deep expertise and knowledge in HTML5+, CSS3+, and JS, JavaScript frameworks, and front-end frameworks
·  Experience with Git/GitHub
·  Experience building dynamic single page applications
·  Experience integrating with JSON-based REST APIs
·  Cross browser development and responsive and mobile design skills
·  Experience with Agile software development, Scrum, and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
·  Ability to generate, follow, and update technical procedures and evaluate results
