The new Digital & Technology Solutions BSc (Hons) degree forms part of the degree apprenticeship and has been designed by some of the tech sector's leading employers to equip students with the skills the sector is looking for with in the software development practice.
Being part of the Higher Degree Apprenticeship Scheme, you get the chance to gain work experience, learn on the job skills and achieve a degree.
Through a delivery model which incorporates distance, at university and within employment learning, the successful apprentices will have the best chance of achieving a BSc (Hons) Digital &Technology Solutions Professional Degree specializing in software engineering.

About Our Program
If you love to apply logic to a problem and have a passion for technology, then our Client Innovation Centre Degree Apprenticeship is a great fit for you. We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join us as a degree apprentice in September 2020.
As one of our degree apprentices you will get real hands on work experience whilst studying towards your BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions Professional Degree. As part of your CIC Apprenticeship, we will offer you a tailored, in-depth training program to enable you to build core development skills and transferable business skills which will allow you to support IBM's clients. Working in a consultancy environment, you will play an integral part of a variety of exciting projects across a range of sectors. Projects will vary in size, location, and length; some will be a completely new initiative for the client, others will be part of an existing major program. Each project that you work on will have its own unique working environment enabling you to build up your network as well as your skills.
As part of the CIC, you will have the opportunity to travel to client sites and other IBM and CIC centers across the UK, sometimes even further! Travel flexibility is important to us as our clients often like to work with you face to face. You will be expected to travel throughout your employment, so we are looking for explorers, those people who are willing to go the extra mile for our clients (quite literally!)
The contract duration for the IT degree apprenticeship role is 4 years. This is subject to the successful annual completion of the Digital & technology solutions BSc (Hons) degree & performance review.
