IBM Z System Developer for z / VSE (m/w/x)

Job description

The IBM Z server family (also known as mainframes) impress with extremely high reliability, availability times of almost 100% and the highest level of security worldwide. In order to be able to set itself apart in today's competition, companies must react to dynamic markets and process enormous amounts of business data efficiently and securely.
The IBM Z mainframes have always been the leading platform for the IT industry in terms of transaction processing, server consolidation and secure data processing for company-wide applications.
The operating systems on IBM Z are the basis for middleware, server components and customer-specific solutions.

At first you will be responsible - in an international team - for the professional expansion, testing and maintenance of z / VSE operating system components. This also includes working directly with customers to support them with questions, errors, migrations and technical problems.

Your profile:
- You have experience with the IBM mainframe
- You have experience in operating system development and system-related programming (e.g. in C, assembler)
- You are highly motivated
- You can communicate in English with confidence
