Responsibilities include:
·  Monitoring, controlling and operating a PeopleSoft HCM Payroll system
·  Execution of series of batch jobs over the course of multiple days to complete pay processing
·  Analyzing first level problems for Payroll issues according to the service agreements, resolving and/or routing as appropriate
·  Analyzing, interpreting and translating requirements into a viable solution,
·  Developing test cases, performing unit/system testing and on larger initiatives coordinating user acceptance testing
·  Evening and weekend shift work will be required
·  MUST hold Federal Government security clearance. Note: Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  A foundation in Payroll
·  2 yrs+ Experience in PeopleSoft
·  SAP/ERP Experience (would be considered if no PeopleSoft)
·  5 yrs+ Experience processing Payroll
·  Microsoft Office Experience
·  Payroll Certification PCP or in progress
·  Intermediate level in Excel
·  Currently hold Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance (or higher) You are able to:
·  Demonstrate a strong understanding of deadlines and committed to accuracy in all aspects of the position.
·  Work independently and also is a team player.
·  Be flexible to work all shifts (days, nights and evenings) and able to work weekends when required.
