Digital Circuit Design- Student Position

Job description

IBM Systems in Israel is looking for students for Digital Circuit design team in Tel-Aviv site (located in Azrieli tower) or Haifa site (located in Haifa University campus).

This position involves responsibility for the logical and physical implementation of the on-chip memories at the next generation CPU's, designed with IBM's latest and greatest Silicon process (5nm technology). The designated candidate will face the challenges of high frequency and complex circuit CPUs and SRAM design.
The technology involved is at the backbone of IBM's processors development effort, including embedded processors, servers and super computers. As the complexity of processors grow, new technological developments and innovations are required.
The work will be performed as part of a local and/or global development teams

Due to the design complexity and tight requirements, the person who will fill this position will require fundamental VLSI and digital circuit design understanding .

Location: Haifa or Tel Aviv

Requirements
• Starting the 5th or 6th semester of B.Sc. in Electrical engineering or computer Engineering, or M.Sc student
• Hebrew & English fluent speaking and writing
• Self-directed, Able to work independently
• Team player
• Electrical Engineering Fundamentals Knowledge
• Digital Circuit Design Course

Advantages:
• VLSI Course
• Understanding of computer micro architectures
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog
• Scripting (Shell/SKILL/PERL/TCL)
• RTL coding
• Processors or Computer architecture
• Deep submicron technologies and basic device physics
