This opportunity is responsible for Consulting Service Sales aligned to the IBM Cognitive Process Transformation Practice specifically representing the Data Platform and Advanced Analytics solution offerings.

Tasks will include performing business level discovery; crafting and delivering tailored solution demonstrations and proposals for current and prospective customers; creatively applying solutions to help solve business problems and communicating these approaches to different business audiences across our targeted industries.

As an individual contributor and member of a team you will perform a sales role in support of the specific solution offering.

Daily you will be drawing upon solution skills and industry knowledge related to your position, team and department to provide subject matter expertise in your offering and will be expected to play a leading role in the end-to-end sales cycle – origination of new business through to contract signature.

You will participate in multi-functional teams covering opportunities which may cross vertical industries. Global knowledge sharing and management is key to IBM's success.

Participating actively in knowledge sharing activities like communities of practice, forums, conferences and/or other knowledge exchanges.

Skills, you will bring to the Team are:
·  Environment: Professional knowledge in the Data Platform & Analytics domain .

·  Communication/Negotiation: Able to advise other professionals. Effectively utilize group dynamics. Negotiate to define approaches and goals.

·  Problem Solving: Be able to recognize complex problems related to functional objectives. Analyse situations and implement solutions, or develop new system elements, procedures or processes. Show creativity and judgment applied to developmental work on different projects within the business environment.

·  Contribution/Leadership:
Provide ongoing technical /operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conduct special projects. Understand department/ functional mission and vision. Define and decide objectives within specified business concept or project and may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources. Utilise expertise to directly influence people outside department or function. Sometimes no precedent exists.

·  Impact on Business/Scope: You will be measured on attainment of targets each quarter on signings performance of focus area/sales domain. Create new leads, originating opportunities that bring new business to Global Business Services, within your domain of expertise.
