We are currently recruiting AS400 Application Developers for a 6 month fixed term contract, based in Melbourne.
The Application Development team is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of enhancements. As an Application Developer your responsibilities include –

·  Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success
·  Assist in creating solutions in Insure90 for client and/or internal review
·  Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos on the Insure90
·  Participate in daily code reviews to offer insight and ask questions
·  Be keenly aware of timelines to deliver in a timely manner
·  Abide by team coding standards, development processes and best practices To ensure success in the role you will possess the following skills –
·  Experience with AS400 system and RPGLE and CLLE programing languages
·  Understanding of ILE programming methods
·  Experience with Rational Developer tool
·  Understanding of design patterns
·  Experience with relational databases especially DB2
·  Strong written and verbal communications Compensation package from $82,110 (full-time equivalent) and will be determined based on successful candidates relevant skills and experience.
