Apple iOS App Developer / Designer / Architect

Job description

You will be responsible for architecting, designing and developing (=programming) state-of-the-art Apple iOS apps for mobile devices (iPads and iPhones) for IBM's clients, mostly for the Polish market. You will be involved in all the project phases - starting from initial client workshops to analyse requirements (using Design Thinking) through defining the architecture, designing and developing the app and integrating it into the client environment, up to testing support and go-live. To deliver solutions, you will use agile project methodologies and base on foundations and tools provided by our strategic Apple + IBM Alliance partnership.
You will be part of IBM's Global Business Services - Digital Strategy & Interactive Experience team - a dynamic, young team oriented at providing best-of-breed business apps to our clients and at the same time having fun in the process.

We are looking for someone who can be flexible in the design process and can easily adapt ideas to client expectations.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required skills:
·  knowledge of Apple iOS, XCode
·  ability to program in Swift (both UI/front-end as well as business logic)
·  knowledge of Apple Human Interface Design Guidelines
·  experience in designing mobile apps using the MVC model
·  knowledge of JSON and XML, web services and integration technologies
·  familiarity with requirements and code management / versioning systems (git, JIRA)
·  basic experience in debugging and testing apps
·  Excellent teamwork and collaboration
·  Proactive approach, problem solver
·  Client-facing attitude
·  Very fluent in English and Polish (both written and spoken)
·  Flexible working hours
·  Ability to travel if required (although current assumption is that 80% of the work is in Warsaw)

·  knowledge and experience in programming in Objective-C
·  knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, css, JavaScript, Java, Angular, etc.)
·  programming in JavaScript (both client and server - e.g. node.js), Java, Ruby, etc.
·  knowledge of mobile app performance and security aspects
·  experience working in agile / Scrum projects
·  knowledge of IBM's MobileFirst Platform and Websphere Application Server
·  experience in working in a distributed, multi-cultural environment
