Advisory Software Engineer

Job description

Advisory Software Engineer, IBM Corporation, New York, NY: Define security architecture. Develop secure and auditable applications. Collaborate with internal and external security groups. Integrate and develop cloud-based solutions and services. Cooperate with stakeholders, security compliance, legal, customers, and partners. Gather and refine requirements. Contribute to team. Design and develop integration strategies. Solve complex and time-critical problems. Manage projects. Utilize IT security, cyber security, European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), cloud platforms, security vulnerability testing tools, security penetration detection tools, security concepts, and authentication and authorization technologies. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing IT security, cyber security, EU GDPR, cloud platforms, security vulnerability testing tools, security penetration detection tools, security concepts, and authentication and authorization technologies.
