Currently we are looking for Advisory AIX Administrator.

What you'll do:
·  Provide BAU for AIX and VIO servers
·  Co-ordinate with other support team like Network, Storage, applications infrastructure of around 1000 Servers
·  Co-ordinate with Hardware and OS vendors to resolve the server issues.
·  Support High Availability of Storage and Networking.
·  Writing efficient readable Bash, Ksh, Awk or Python scripts.
·  Create and Maintain design specifications and related documentation.
·  Weekend sometime evening work is required
Required Technical and Professional Expertise :
·  AIX/VIOS/Linux skills supported by at least 2 years of experience
·  Experience in managing Mission Critical systems in Production environments
·  File system management (JFS, JFS2, NFS) for data integrity
·  Logical volume management (LVM) for data availability
·  Experience in PowerVM
·  Network Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, LDAP, NFS
·  Storage technologies (FC/ SCSI/ ISCSI/ RAID/ NAS/SAN)
·  Familiarity with scripting languages: Bash. Perl, Python
·  Server management via HMC
·  Server management using NIM
·  HMC management and maintenance
·  Knowledge of various server architectures (Power Systems, x86, SPARC) Nice to have:
·  Comprehension of Multipathing, Link Agregation, Fault Tolerance and Load Balancing
·  Creation and management of LPARS, WPARS
·  Experience in Clustering Solutions - PowerHA
