The Revenue Analyst is responsible for implementing revenue management system and standards and practices to control rooms inventories and rates. This person participates in strategic hotel marketing plans by monitoring future rooms occupancy and revenues. The Revenue Analyst will oversee the hotel reservations department to maintain optimum levels of production resulting in optimum occupancy. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, overseeing the group sales and reservations process, monitoring and assessing all lost business reports, monitor and implement strategies for Internet distribution channels, and training and development of all reservation's personnel. Position responsibilities will place an emphasis on pre-sale revenue growth.
Goals will include to out-perform direct competitors by winning market share using rational and competitive pricing through the utilization of distribution strategy backed by targeted marketing, and careful management of hotel inventory to maximize topline revenue and yield high net profits
Ideal candidate profile
· 2 years in a hotel operations position preferred
· Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
