Housekeeping Team Leader Intern from January 2017

From January 2017 - 6 months

Working hours : 37 hours/week

You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

Key tasks:

-Daily allocation of rooms and deep cleaning tasks to team members

-Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicating them to the relevant service

-Routine inspection of guest bedrooms to ensure they meet standards

-Be aware of all room categories and amenities

-Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

-Ensure guest laundry is cleaned and delivered in a timely manner

-Report maintenance issues to Engineering Department.

-Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

Positive attitude, dynamic and well-organized, you have a good ability to handle stress.

Currently enrolled in a two year college degree diploma, a fluent English is required.

A first experience in Hospitality within the Rooms department will be a must.
