The Role




We are looking for a confident, self-motivated applicant who has great attention to details, excellent communication skills, is well presented and interested in an event or Sales career.

The Event Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Catering & Conventions team. This includes being a co-champion for the Sales & Catering database (ISAC), preparation of proposals and contracts, answering all incoming general phone line enquires and being accountable for a specific task list relating to reporting, administration support and client interaction.

Areas of responsibility include:

·  Be the first impression of The Westin Sydney events team, handling all phone enquires
·  Support the Sales Executives with all administration tasks including, proposal preparation, floor plans, event orders and billing
·  Promote the hotel to potential customers via phone and in person on site inspections delivering an on-brand interaction
·  Coordinate signage, complete reports and provide timely and accurate communication to operation teams
·  Manage the sales and catering database

This role provides an opportunity for development in both administration and sales skills and scope to work towards handling and converting small meeting enquiries – a true evolve and grow position.
