Job description
· Sets up the mise-en-place stations for the various meal periods according to performance standards.
· Prepares food items according to standard recipes
· Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.
· Works closely with other employees in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
· Ensures consistent supply of quality products and correct quantities to all food outlets within the hotel.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
· Completion of Pastry Chef Apprenticeship or equivalent
· Good Hygiene Knowledge
· Good baking skills
· Knowledge and experience in a variety of different cooking methods
· Desired one years work experience as Pastry/Bakery Commis Chef in a hotel or restaurant with good standards
· Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia for a minimum of 12 months
