Purpose of Department

Global patch Management team provides support for approximately 36000+ windows servers located across multiple regions on a 24 hour 7 day per week schedule. The team is responsible for deploying OS critical patches on all the servers in order to ensure the servers are up to date with the latest patches released by Microsoft and to meet the ISR standards.

Job Description

· Deploy patches to servers on a daily basis across multiple regions.
· Perform server administration and daily production support activities in Windows systems on a 24 hour 7 day per week schedule.
· Use SCCM tools for managing the security patches, hot fixes, service packs and in-house software package deployment etc. for over 25000+ servers.
· Perform system change releases in UAT, DR and Production environment.
· Coordinate with different overseas teams to plan, schedule, implement and review system changes records.
· Accountable for maintaining the healthy server environment through daily monitoring the error logs and also fixing various SCCM agent issues.
