Job description



Role Purpose (overall high level summary of the role)

· Manage FX business for Global Markets
·
Marketing treasury products to corporate client base

·
Providing FX, Interest Rate and Metal solutions for corporate clients

Principal Accountabilities

·
Marketing Treasury products through providing FX and Interest Rates solutions for corporate clients in cooperation with HSBC Middle East

·
Increase segment profitability by effectively cross selling various structured products

·
Handle corporate Customer's T-bills/Bonds (Primary and Secondary) requests.

·
Coordinate Corporate Desk and handling FX pricing (Sell / Buy) with corporate clients.

·
Execute FX Spot & FWD deals for bank's customers

·
Maximize bank FX profit as well as exceeding monthly turnover

·
To maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implantation of internal & external audit points, with any issues raised by external auditors

Role Context (The environment and operating conditions of the role including the extent of guidance and authority)

· Role holder is located in HSBC Egypt Head Office and handling HSBC Egypt corporate clients
·
Authorized to deal outside normal trading hours on premises to cover client deals with Group Offices

·
Job Holder is all times bound by the conditions of the Global Markets policies and procedures and the regulatory requirements.

·
Coordinating with Corporate banking team as well as branches for developing Bank FX profit & volumes

·
Authorized to deal in FX & Derivatives and money market instruments and bonds with external counterparties as per permitted list of instruments on behalf of HSBC Egypt

·
Ensure that any deals executed are within counterparty (Client) limit

·
To ensure that all positions are fully squared with the trading desk. And not to hold positions in any products at any time

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications (For the role – not the role holder. Minimum requirements of the role.)

· 
A very good understanding of Global Markets products together with a strong technical ability

· 
Excellent communication skills to have the ability for building strong relationship with clients

· 
Very good knowledge of using systems to be able to handle customers' pricing / checking limits / transactions records

· 
To be fully aware of CBE regulations and Group Standards.

· 
A very good communication skills
