Role Purpose

· To support the country Head of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and the FCC Oversight & Reporting Manager in the ongoing country business as usual (BAU) and submissions. Main focus will center on engaging and following-up with country stakeholders in the Global Businesses and Global Functions on all FCC related matters.

Key accountabilities are:

·
Assist with the technical / financial crime risk review of key risk governance papers.

·
Assist in the implementation of FCC governance and target operating model in country

·
Assist in the drafting of papers for various risk committees on key financial crime risk matters

·
Support in managing new/emerging financial crime risks

·
Assistance with preparation and risk analysis on key tasks issue, Management Information (MI) and regulatory requests

·
Assisting in the driving of key initiatives across the FCC function

·
Stakeholder communications

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas

Impact on the Business

·
Assisting in the collation of reports and other management information, ensuring that it is error free, consistent and of a high quality.

·
Assisting in the follow-up with the Country team on delivering timely MI and updates.

·
Support the Country Head of FCC and Country Oversight & Reporting Manager in producing governance forum packs along with the implementation of the FCR governance structure and target operating model

·
To understand, and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules and regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the function in which the job holder is involved.

· Assist in providing analysis on graphs and trends provided by the Regional Oversight Reporting (O&R) team and other Financial Crime Risk (FCR), MI sources to highlight progress on issues by different Line of Business (LoB) and functions.

Customers / Stakeholders

· Assists with the close engagement to stakeholders on all aspects of FCC; stakeholders include: Regional Oversight & Reporting, FCC (LoB), AML, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, risk owners in the first line of defense, control owners, Business Risk & Control Management, Operational Risk

· Assists with the communication of deliverables and results to Regional Oversight & Reporting team and the country stakeholders in a clear and effective manner
·
Provides support on Operational Risk Management Frame Work (ORMF) & risk analysis when required to FCC Risk Stewards

· Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets

Leadership & Teamwork

Close and positive working relationship with Regional and Country Compliance team.

Coordination with other second line of defense units (Risk and Operational Risk Internal Control (ORIC)

· Strong, persuasive personality required to cope with challenging business situations.

Qualifications :

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

·  Degree or similar professional qualification.
· 
Compliance/FCC/oversight and reporting experience

· 
MS office proficiency,

· 
Good negotiation, influencing and communication skills.

· 
Clear written and oral English skills

· 
Strong relationship building and networking skills required.

· 
Strong analytical, organisational and planning skills required along with the ability to work independently.

· 
Excellent drafting skills and ability to produce high quality reports within short timelines.
