Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, contingency, geopolitical, operational, credit, pension, insurance, financial crime and regulatory compliance, market and reputation risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Global Banking and Markets Reputational Risk Analyst .

Principal responsibilities

· ​To assist the Regional Head of Reputational Risk and Client Selection in ensuring efficient decision making and execution of decisions around Global Banking and Markets client on boarding, monitoring, transactions and exits.
· Align inputs from frontline team, Financial Crime Compliance, product Build the Case Coordinators for client reviews for consideration by Regional Reputational Risk and Client Selection Committees.
· Support the Regional Head of Reputational Risk and Client Selection and Reputational Risk Manager in ensuring that subject matter expert input is obtained to produce succinct yet comprehensive transaction review proposals.
· Ensure operational integrity and compliance with all related policies and procedures.

Qualifications :

Requirements

·  High level understanding of all types of reputational and financial crime risk.
Familiarity with the majority of financial services products within Global Markets, Payments and Cash Management, Securities Services, Trade and Lending.
·  An understanding of the commercial considerations of business relationships, as well as associated reputational risks
·  Good communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build rapport and relationships across business areas and globally dispersed locations.
·  Good understanding of policies, procedures, front line and middle office operations.
·  Good organization and planning skills with good attention to detail.
·  Ability to remain effective under pressure.
·  Be comfortable escalating decisions where appropriate.
